SoCal Engagement Photos Balboa Park

One of my favorite locations for SoCal Engagement Photos is Balboa Park. 😉 The gorgeous pillars and beautiful garden make some gorgeous romantic shots. (Perfect for engagement or couples photos!) Caroline and her fiancée, Patrick, met in college. Patrick was a senior and Caroline was a freshman.

The Engagement Story

He headed off to military training. Despite the distance, their relationship continued to grow. Patrick flew Caroline out to wherever he was, even if it was only for the weekend. And all those flights and frequent flyer miles paid off! After three long years of long distance he popped the question! (Caroline is a blogger and you can read the full proposal story HERE.)

Shortly after Caroline’s graduation, Patrick flew out to San Diego to spend the weekend. They planned a photoshoot with a friend. After a few pictures, Patrick was down on one knee, and the rest is history!

About Balboa Park

Caroline and Patrick are such a fun, carefree couple (and not to mention gorgeous!) and I absolutely loved getting to spend time with them. I was so honored to take their engagement photos. The whole time we just ran around laughing and chasing the sun 🙂 Literally everywhere you turn in Balboa Park, there is another gorgeous scene and photo opportunity! (I highly recommend strolling through Balboa Park on a nice sunny day. It is open to the public! And there is so much to do, including museums, performances, restaurants, etc.! Check it out HERE.
